RMO with ADX for Amibroker (AFL)

Rating:
4 / 5 (Votes 4)

RMO is the Rahul Mohinder oscillator, which I found to be useful, but it was giving a lot of false signals in a rangebound market.

So, I decided to add ADX in the exploration and filter stocks which are not in a trend to avoid these false signals

On chart both indicators look same – how to identify which stocks to select – is it by using exploration to choose stocks with ADX above 20 or 25? Is there any way to reduce signals on the chart itself using this filter so that one can clearly see the reduced whipsaws.

Such code can then be added to some other good indicators as well

Hi mahesh if you post this question in the forum i’ll show you how to do it. Posting large formulas in the comments doesn’t work well.

Dear Admnistrator,
This AFL is Excellent. You know, RM is charging few thousand dollars for subscription for this system.
And that too, he does not provide much info. You are great & God bless you for helping others

thanks
